optimizing care through an integrative approach

Location:  University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center

Hours:  May 3rd 8:30am - 6:00pm  

The purpose of this course is to broaden the doctor's knowledge base in regards to traditional veterinary care and how to integrate traditional and complementary care in order to enable the doctor to make appropriate referrals as well as optimize an integrative treatment approach.

Seminar topics include thoracolumbar region dysfunction and integrative treatment approaches, including core strengthening exercises for the treatment of back pain.  Case studies will be presented with round table discussion.

This course was designed for DCs (Doctors of Chiropractic) or DVMs (Doctors of Veterinary Medicine) that have already completed one of the AVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association) approved basic programs in Animal Chiropractic.  Students are required to submit their license number as well as proof of approved Animal Chiropractic course completion.

This seminar is pending approval by AVCA, IVCA and the MBCE (Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners) for 7.5 CEUs. The cost for this seminar is $175 and space is limited so register today!

May 4th & 5th, 2019

Location:  University of Minnesota Leatherdale Equine Center & surrounding facilities

Hours:  May 4th 8:30am - 5:30pm & May 5th 8:30am-5:30pm 

The purpose of this course is to introduce advanced techniques in the thoracolumbar region and offers extensive hands-on opportunities for students to get input from instructors that have extensive experience in the field.  This course is intended for Doctors interested in learning new techniques and improving their technique skills.  Topics covered include equine behavior and body language, soft tissue techniques, adjusting techniques, handling the fractious patient as well as client management and education. 

 

This course was designed for DCs (Doctors of Chiropractic) or DVMs (Doctors of Veterinary Medicine) that have already completed one of the AVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association) approved basic programs in Animal Chiropractic.  Students are required to submit their license number as well as proof of approved Animal Chiropractic course completion.
